Chike - Bass Guitar
Chike says:
"It's terrific to be playing bass in Blackpool's top rock covers band and I recommend it to everyone to have a go at playing their favourote instrument in a live situation for the entertainment of people - it's a thrill. And I also have to mention the support that The Monkey Army has given me is something I will never forget. The band play exactly the type of music I have always been into and I've also enjoyed the challenge of learning such a varied and interesting set list. Let's face it, when you are told to learn songs ranging from Rage Against The Machine to Tina Turner passing Green Day, Led Zep and Foo Fighters along the way, well, you just know it's going to be a Hullova ride!! Sounds like I'm on the Long Train and I've bought a one way ticket!!!"

Favourite bands are Yes, RHCP, SOAD, Jamiroquai, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, Muse, Green Day, James Brown, Deep Purple and spin off bands, but mostly I love those really old and fabulous Blues, Jazz and Funk choons from the 30's to the 70's. I also love all those songs you hear and don't know (like disco & funk) coz the basslines are just so FUNKAYYYYYY.
Jaco was and always will be the best ever bassist ever!
