Asa - Drum & Vocals

Originally from Blackpool and currently residing in Manchester, Asa has
returned to his roots geographically and musically to join Smokin Monkey.
As famous for the space between the beats as the beats themselves, he has
been playing the drums since his teens. When asked if he would consider
becoming the groove behind the band, the answer was a rousing "HELL YEAH!"
I mean, who wouldn't want to stare at that fine set of asses for two hours
every weekend?

Asa says:

"Playing with Monkey gives me chance to play hard and heavy! It's a
priveledge to be a part of Blackpool's best loved rock band. And when I say
priveledge, I mean I had nothing better to do. My joining the band also
raises the average IQ to MENSA levels"

Asa plays Mapex drums, Zildjian cymbals, Gibraltar and DW hardware, Evans
skins and Vic Firth 5A wood tip sticks. Not that I'm after any endorsement,
I just wondered if anyone has any spares going?
